The Moment You Forgive Yourself
You Are Reborn of the Spirit
Service
All this concept of atonement and sacrificial salvation is rooted and grounded in selfishness. Jesus taught that service to one's fellows is the highest concept of the brotherhood of spirit believers. Salvation should be taken for granted by those who believe in the fatherhood of God. The believer's chief concern should not be the selfish desire for personal salvation but rather the unselfish urge to love and, therefore, serve one's fellows even as Jesus loved and served mortal men.

The Common Denominator is YOU
There is a simple equation you would do well to learn, starting today.
The Greatest Misinterpretation of Spiritual Rebirth
"Jesus taught that service to one's fellows is the highest concept of the brotherhood of spirit believers. Salvation should be taken for granted by those who believe in the fatherhood of God. The believer's chief concern should not be the selfish desire for personal salvation but rather the unselfish urge to love and, therefore, serve one's fellows even as Jesus loved and served mortal men."
Many Teach It But Do NOT Live It
Those lazy minded individuals who copy and paste online, and reject and reprimand all who try to introduce any article links, ideas and concepts, which are nonconformist, also likely do the same offline.
What I just said may seem "trivial" and hardly worth mentioning. I will venture, however, you are likely one who also does this.
But herein such a "trivial concept" lies the "natural fear-ego-self-protection-selfishness" of the mortal hue-manimal.
134:6.1 If one man craves freedom —liberty—he must remember that all other men long for the same freedom. Groups of such liberty-loving mortals cannot live together in peace without becoming subservient to such laws, rules, and regulations as will grant each person the same degree of freedom while at the same time safeguarding an equal degree of freedom for all of his fellow mortals. If one man is to be absolutely free, then another must become an absolute slave. And the relative nature of freedom is true socially, economically, and politically. Freedom is the gift of civilization made possible by the enforcement of LAW.
My point is that ALL selfish reactions of the mortal self begin with the most trivial of behaviors toward one's fellow children of God.
Watch the following video. Then, ask yourself in all sincerity: Would you react like Peyton with pure unselfishness--a innocent and pure desire to want nothing for yourself but would only want to better the lives of others, were it possible in some way?
Do you think Peyton is concerned with imposing "rules and regulations" upon others to make them "conform" to her own view of her relationships with others? Highly unlikely it is even or ever will be a "beLIEf" in her perception of reality.
What Are Your Expectations of Your Fellow Beings?
- Do you "impose" your beLIEfs upon those around you and online?
- What are your expectations of your fellow beings?
- Do you expect others to beLIEve as you do? You expect "conformity" and "uniformity?"
- Are you even "aware" you are doing this to fellow beings?
I am ever observant of how common this behavior is--acting out a program of selfish behavior of expectation of "conformity" and "uniformity" of beLIEf almost wholly on the subconscious level--automatic behavior without "self-awareness."
You Must Be "Born Again" and "Again" and "Again"
This concept of "the moment you forgive yourself you are reborn of the spirit" is very "alien" to the mortal children of God.
When asked or confronted with this concept, you might commonly react with... "Why do I need to forgive myself?"
And my question to you, in turn, would be: How can you truly forgive others, let alone receive Father's forgiveness (spiritual rebirth) without first "forgiving yourself? It is not possible. To attempt to forgive others without first forgiving yourself is like "putting the cart before the horse."
But once you truly understand and embrace "first, forgiving yourself" you may begin to forgive yourself every time you observe yourself "acting selfishly" toward others. Why?
Because you must be born again and again and again; your spiritual rebirth must become a continual "renewal" of body, mind, soul and spirit.
When you, in all sincerity, and cooperation with Father's indwelling spirit, begin to see the transformation which results from "forgiving yourself" your own imperfections of immature and selfish behavior toward others, and subsequently forgiving others their own immature and selfish behaviors, you will truly understand the meaning of...
"the moment you forgive yourself you are reborn of the spirit."
Why? Because forgiving yourself gives the mind a much needed enema and reconnects heart and mind so that you may receive and experience the forgiveness which Father has already given you, even before you should think to ask him for His forgiveness of you.
