Do you ever get that eerie feeling that "the more things change the more they stay the same?"

Perhaps you have never even thought about this? 

So many individuals are born, live, and die without ever questioning much of anything. Are you one of such unquestioning individuals? 

Are you with me--aware that I've already asked four questions and haven't even really begun this article, yet? 

Why do you suppose it is that you rarely, if ever ask any questions, and I ask questions almost continually?

Could the difference be that in your perception your beLIEf system the asking of questions is "not allowed?" And the reason I may freely ask question after question is because I chose and choose to "allow" myself to ask any and all questions?

Is Heaven on Earth a Conceptual Fiction?

If this question is not asked, an expanded world of discovery and understanding remains unavailable. Is this not true?

I dare to say that for the majority of hue-manimal children of God who have ever been born, lived, and died on Earth (Urantia) the answer is "heaven on Earth is a conceptual fiction."

And "heaven on Earth" will continue to be an "elusive" concept for likely another 1,000 years, or until approximately 50% of hue-man children of God then living on the planet in that future time are living the reality of the "Fatherhood of God and the fraternalhood of all hue-man beings."

Is Heaven on Earth a Possibility? And if so, How?

The "good news" is yes. The question which must be asked is: is heaven on earth a possibility of attainment within you, as an individual child of God?

There is nothing which can prohibit or retard the growth of your soul to spiritual adulthood, except your "not allowing" it to happen.

Consider the concepts in the following passages from The Urantia Book:

112:7.2 When your earthly course in temporary form has been run, you are to awaken on the shores of a better world, and eventually you will be united with your faithful Adjuster in an eternal embrace. And this fusion constitutes the mystery of making God and man one, the mystery of finite creature evolution, but it is eternally true. Fusion is the secret of the sacred sphere of Ascendington, and no creature, save those who have experienced fusion with the spirit of Deity, can comprehend the true meaning of the actual values which are conjoined when the identity of a creature of time becomes eternally one with the spirit of Paradise Deity.

112:7.3 Fusion with the Adjuster is usually effected while the ascender is resident within his local system. It may occur on the planet of nativity as a transcendence of natural death; it may take place on any one of the mansion worlds or on the headquarters of the system; it may even be delayed until the time of the constellation sojourn; or, in special instances, it may not be consummated until the ascender is on the local universe capital.

The "great goal" of hue-man existence is to grow your soul to spiritual adulthood--to become a fully spiritualized son of God. 

And it is, yes, possible to attain to this perfected estate, even here on Urantia (Earth), because you fully, and without restriction, embrace the Fatherhood of God and the fraternalhood of all hue-man children of God, as an individual child of God.

But this "high spiritual status" is not attainable without changing your "habits of language" from those of fear and all of its accompanying manifestations to "habits of language" that embrace fearlessness, courage, understanding, patience, peace, love and joy within you. 

There is no other way. There is no holding onto the past; there is no being anxious about the future. 

There is heaven on earth attainable, now, in you the individual child of God. But it doesn't "just happen." It takes great effort to effect "the conquest of self."

The question each individual child of God must eventually ask himself and herself (or not) is: 

Is it worth the effort to "allow" yourself to grow toward the inner spirit nuclear center of God's actual spirit-presence within your mind?

And only you can answer that question (or not).
