It Is Well with My Soul
(Is It Well With Yours?)
(Written 9/10/20)Father,
I share with you these words from the deepest depth of my soul
I choose life, freedom, love and to exercise self-control
your will be done, evermore...and it is well with my soul
It is well with my soul, and in wellness, I am made whole
in the moral matrix womb of mind, together, we grow
from the glowing seeds of sincerity and decision
the soul's need is well satisfied in growing beyond the human
Across the whole of the Earth...there is no greater beauty
than the solemn trust bestowed of cosmic nobility
in duty of service within the cosmic family
It is well with my soul, and in wellness, I am made whole
in the moral matrix womb of mind, together, we grow
from the glowing seeds of sincerity and decision
the soul's need is well satisfied in growing beyond the human
An unbroken connection to your indwelling spirit
paradise within...I can find no words to describe it
your indwelling spirit interprets...mind and soul are lit
It is well with my soul, and in wellness, I am made whole
in the moral matrix womb of mind, together, we grow
from the glowing seeds of sincerity and decision
the soul's need is well satisfied in growing beyond the human
Mind and soul are lit up in the daily sharing of truth
growing into our sole focus out of a shattered youth
to serve the brotherhood is to do your will...to serve you,
It is well with my soul, and in wellness, I am made whole
in the moral matrix womb of mind, together, we grow
from the glowing seeds of sincerity and decision
the soul's need is well satisfied in growing beyond the human
you are the victim of your own mind You Are the Victim of Your Own Mind Any Questions? Victimization by Others vs. Self-victimization Is there a point where early victimization (by others) in childhood is no longer other-victimization but self-victimization? At what age could this be said to be true? Being victimized by parents (one or both), by foster parents (one or both), by a step-dad or step-mom (or both), an uncle, an aunt, a cousin, etc. begins a life-long tragedy of suffering in the mind of the victimized individual. But when the victimization by another or others stops (for whatever reason), at what point do you continue on in self-victimization , when you are old enough to make a different choice? The answer is likely that of personal choices to grow or to not grow in soul-awareness. In my own experience, it took until 29 years of age to make a different choice--a soul-conscious choice to no longer victimize myself and start down the path to healing. It took 11 mor...
arrogance is the camouflage of insecurity Arrogance is the Camouflage of Insecurity What Do YOU Fear that Makes YOU Arrogant? Give Me Liberty If one man craves freedom — liberty — he must remember that all other men long for the same freedom. The Urantia Book , ( 134:6.1 ) Arrogance is Mimicry I was recently asked on social media: " So tell me please, when did you first come to think something like soul could be real, do you remember?" And my response was: Thank you for asking this question, a rare question indeed in my experience and an excellent one. (I love for others to ask questions of me.) The First Moral Decision At five and one-half years of age I made a more unconscious than conscious decision that I wanted to be like God, based on the little information provided to me by my grandmother. I admired the qualities of character of the idea and concept of God, because I admired those same qualities which I saw in my grandmother. To the child mind, it w...
why do you always expect the worst instead of the best Why Do YOU Always Expect the Worst Instead of the Best? "Few persons live up to the faith which they really have. Fear is a master intellectual fraud practiced upon the evolving mortal soul." The Urantia Book Don't Get Lost in the Feeling... Challenge It! A few minutes ago, I found myself feeling a bit "edgy." Then, I stopped to recognize (become aware of) the fact that every now and then I feel a bit "edgy" without there being any dialogue attached to the feeling . Subsequently, I realized that (like I have said so many times before) it requires no more energy to think even a "hidden negative thought" that leads to an "edgy" feeling than it does to think an "overtly clear positive thought" which leads to feelings that all is well and good. The living connection to Father's indwelling spirit --the Thought Adjuster and the Spirit of Truth of the Creator Son will...
